Amazing memorable stay. Thank you!

In short, the stay was amazing and very highly recommended. To break down some highlights: - Super clean and well kept. The rooms were spotless on arrival and every day after. - The staff was very friendly and polite. - The food of the restaurant for all meals was excellent. The buffet breakfast was extremely varied, with very fresh fruits and baked goods. - Parking was super easy, and they had enough for the days the hotel was busy. - Bonus: if you had a toddler, the cleaning staff would leave homemade surprises (I.e. a bumblebee made with toilet rolls and two eyes) for them on their bed and crib. Our child loved them, and we took them home. Would come again. Thanks to the staff for such a memorable stay.

Perfect family holiday

Amazing. We took our 5-m old baby and they were so kind and prepared for us - baby bath, baby towel and crib. Each night the staff brought around little gifts too. An amazing farmhouse hotel with pineapple thermal bath and sauna and pool. Plus they threw pizza parties and summer parties too. Couldn’t have asked for a better first family Holiday

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet location. Stylish but not overdone, very comfortable bed, lovely staff and great food. The plunge pool in the pineapple plantation is charming. The spa facilities and Pilates are top notch. I highly recommend a stay.

We had a lovely stay at Senhora da Rosa. The staff were lovely and helpful and the facilities were great. The pool and spa area was really nice; we had a lot of it to ourselves as most people are out exploring the island. Staying in Ponta Delgada was a great way to explore the island. It was a nice peaceful area although quite a long walk which is just something to bear in mind as we did find it better to eat out during the day and just have something from the bar menu on an evening as it was nice and chilled and had a great selection of cocktails.

This was a lovely hotel with beautiful accommodations and friendly and helpful staff. You can really tell they select and train toward global hospitality. We appreciated the environmental efforts made. Food in the bar and Magma restaurant was very good for the most part. The pool was welcome and my husband enjoyed the spa. Having spacious forested grounds inside the city was special. Service in the bar area, even when slow, could have been better. It was highly priced in August, especially for a single hotel room with no couch, kitchenette, etc.

Great quality breakfast in a suburban setting

The room we stayed in differed from the rest of the hotel and I was very glad about that. Unique setting overlooking a lush garden. Loved the breakfast, high quality buffet. I was not able to dine for dinner due to it being fully booked. Nice pool area and basic gym. Great to see no single use plastic. However, the soap toiletries were an issue for me as not practical.

AMAZING!! I fell in love from the photos and the experience only solidified that. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, and the dinner food was some of the best we had in the Azores. We stayed in the junior suite and it was divine! The spa area is incredibly relaxing and the pool/hot tub are so much fun! There are some growing pains in food and beverage that could be worked on. Things take a long time and there were some issues with quality at lunch. The surrounding area is hectic with dogs barking and fireworks often but the hotel still feels like an oasis within the hectic cityscape. Overall it’s a truly spectacular property. We would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The front desk stafff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, we enjoyed that there were many local products for breakfast. The mini bar also included local items, including passion fruit soda which was very good and not expensive. The room was very clean. The best part was most certainly using the hot spring tub in the pineapple greenhouse, which we enjoyed as often as we could especially on the cooler rainy evenings. The hotel is located in a quiet area, it is best to have car if you choose to stay here, though we did walk into downtown one night. It was about a 30 minute walk, and the sidewalks are very narrow in some places, though it didn't feel unsafe once we got used to it, as this is the case for most of Ponta Delgada. No complaints!

We had an extraordinary stay at Senhora da Rosa, Tradition & Nature Hotel. As a family of five who has traveled to destinations like Bora Bora, Paris, and Costa Rica, we can confidently say this was one of the most pampering and comfortable experiences we’ve ever had. The family suite was a dream :complete with bunk beds (each with its own TV), a cozy teepee tent, and child-sized bathrobes that were the cherry on top. It gave our children a magical space of their own while still keeping everything luxurious and effortless for us. The hotel itself felt like pure indulgence, with unique design elements that sparked my inner artist, while keeping our kids engaged with the pool, kids’ club, and thoughtful details. To our delight, the staff even surprised our daughter with a birthday cake, making her feel so special and creating a memory we’ll always treasure. From pizza dinners on the terrace to evenings playing chess in the lounge, every moment was intimate, unique, and picture-perfect: an ideal complement to the natural beauty and relaxed vibe of São Miguel. The service was impeccable as well: the staff went above and beyond, preparing an early breakfast for our 7 a.m. flight and ensuring we had everything we needed for the next day. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and are already looking forward to returning The sharma family

Very nice hotel. The basic room is perfect for a stay when you don’t expect to spend alot of time in the room. No luxury. Not a nice area to walk around but the best because very central to visit the island. The property and lot is wonderful. Nice pool. Spa building. Basic but all you need for breakfast is included. Very quiet hotel and guest. Feels like nature and that’s what we wanted. 9+/10

A lovely, relaxing retreat. The spa, pool and grounds were inviting and beautiful. The rooms were clean, modern and stylish. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a great breakfast and terrific dining options (loved the sushi restaurant and local cuisine). The staff were very helpful and made the stay comfortable and welcoming.
