Second visit here…friendly folks, beautiful surroundings, comfy room, just off the AT. Breakfast (and the “Kitchen”/food truck) is as good as you’ve heard…AWESOME. We’ll be heading there again!

I have nothing but great things to say. At first it was a little confusing because it was my first time booking something that isn’t a hotel but I would definitely come back.

We appreciated the ease of checking into the house. It was very neat and the staff were very helpful. The room was quite nice. But the best aspect of all was the amazing breakfast! Almost as good as some buffets in Vegas! We were quite impressed.

This was my 5th time visiting Mountain Harbour and it is always wonderful. The owner's are continuously adding to and improving the property so each visit has been unique. The added bar area is awesome and the entire staff is just amazing. The things that haven't changed are the great service and the literally the best breakfast you will ever have. I can't wait to plan my 6th trip.

I liked the quiet and the sound of the creek nearby it's pretty magical. It's basic no electricity and the port a potty is a ways in the middle of the night but I enjoyed my stay

We were impressed with all the amenities this home had. Even spices and toiletries!
It had comfortable bedding and plenty of extra pillows. Definitely all wheel drive needed for driveway. Very peaceful place and well maintained. No bugs was a plus!

The hospitality was amazing; super friendly, helpful and welcoming to a new guest! I chose to stay in the Treehouse (no power... glorified camping! :-)) and it was a GREAT stay! Was just passing through for early day in Boone to see my daughter, so was a different kind of "thru traveller" but I will definitely be back to camp, hike and also will return for any early visits to Boone, NC! (I live 3 plus hours away, so that's LONG for a day trip to Boone, but having this hostel as a nearby, clean, affordable location is a GREAT discovery!!

The Bed & Breakfast was misleading !!!
During booking it did not mention there was also a Hostel.
So I didn't stay in the B&B I ended up staying in the Hostel.
Barely got any sleep due to different guests coming through daily. Would be nice if you update your website telling folks about the Hostel, big difference staying in a Hostel verses the B&B.

My Husband and I came to the B&B to stay while I had to go the next day for a meeting at Lees McRae. We really enjoyed the food that we had at the restaurant. Then while staying in the Jefferson we enjoyed the private hot tub in the room and the comfortable spacious room. The next morning there was breakfast provided in the kitchen below. There was more than enough to eat. I highly recommend this B & B and plan to stay here in the future.
