Check in clerk was awesome. I had a question after checking out...called talked to one of the rudest person called Brian at the front desk .. wouldn't let me speak and hung up on me ...I actually asked him to email me my receipt. I had to contact customer service to get it. The lady at customer service was awesome. I definitely wouldn't stay at the Braintree Sonesta again.

The parking lot was littered with garbage and clothing, and had people loitering. The lobby's "mini mart" looked like it was ransacked, maybe 1 or 2 bags of chips, but a plethora of laundry detergent. The front desk clerk was friendly with me and let me grab two bottles of water. The TV was iffy - it worked, but not many channel selections, and a few were mismatched (tv said it was NESN but was playing cartoon network). I stayed on the bottom floor, so I had a lot of noise from the parking lot, not from traffic but cars blasting music from the stereos. I ended up checking out the next morning and found another place to stay.

Make sure all heaters are working. Ours did not. They should do better work on patching the walls in the bathroom and repaint them. The walls in the bathroom were 2 different colors. Looked awful. Maybe air out the refrigerator when it’s cleaned. The chemical smell was over whelming every time I opened it.

Upon arrival, the staff was very nice and helpful. However, my room had clearly not been cleaned. The dishwasher had a very bad smell, the floor and bathtub were dirty, and the towels had not been replaced. The furniture was outdated and some pieces were missing fabric. Even the ice had hair in it. I reported these issues to the staff, who said housekeeping would come to clean the room. I left and returned later, but the room was still not cleaned. I complained again and spoke directly with the housekeeper while she was doing rounds; she said my room was not on her list. I also had to request towels and bed sheets myself. The next morning, a different staff member denied that the room had been dirty. Due to the poor cleanliness, lack of resolution, and outdated room condition, I chose not to stay the second night.
