There were domestic situations outside of the room. Couples fighting, someone being kicked out of their room, and a person tried to get into our room. The room was comfortable. We didn't feel like it was very safe. This place was chosen since it was close to a hospital where we had a family member to visit.

Room was very clean and well kept, staff was beyond friendly! Place locks down at 10 for security so you have to have your key card to get in. Comfy beds, nice air, hot water, everything we needed.

Paying for brkfast in reservation & there is none

I'm here to help my mom who is caring for my gma. Everything has been great besides the fact my reservation includes breakfast (so I'm paying extra) and they do not even offer breakfast. Highly disappointed there

No check-in available after 10pm (night desk clerk can be summoned from a phone in the lobby, and the wait was long enough to have me standing outside looking up other hotels on my phone because I didn’t want to stay here. And now into wish I hadn’t. Zero amenities. Not even a drinking cup.

Charged extra $27 for dog at check in

When I went to check in, the employee told me there was an extra $27 fee for our dog. This fee was not disclosed at the time the reservation was made. She said the owner of the hotel doesn’t mention it on hotels.com because so few hotels in Springfield take dogs so they can charge whatever they want at check in and people will have to pay it. I have stayed here before and the fee was much less. I’ll never stay here again for this reason, and because the public areas of the hotel are very dirty.

This is a bad chain of hotels.

Booked through hotels.com ($125 on a Wednesday night). Reception had us wait another 20 minutes for our room “so it could get through the system”. No ice machine. Bathrooms used this material with a finish that looks like boogers are smeared all over it. I suspect they use this is so cleaning gets to be less than thorough. Beds were springy. On top of that, I’ve got an additional $103 charge from the hotel itself on my card. Called, no manager on duty to help me out. Stayed in another one of these (total coincidence) the next night and it was also terrible.

I checked in at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. The room was decent. A bit outdated as far as pug ins. The floor was clean (laminated) overall the room was decent. The hotel smelled like marijuana. After getting settled in my room the room above me was making horrific sounds. It sounded like kids jumping off the bed and running in the room. I am assuming due to laminate floor the sound barrier is not very good. But I called the front desk. The guy was nice he came to the room and said he would go upstairs and ask them to quiet down. He also said he would be getting off at 10 which was in 15 minutes. He failed to tell me there would be no one at the desk or on the property if I needed something. The kids finally settled down around 11:45pm. And yep they were back up at 6am the next morning. I had full intentions of expressing my concerns when I checked out. Little to my surprise there was no front attendant from 10pm to 11am. Check out is 11. So if I wanted to wait around I could have. I ended up taking a video and you can hear the ceiling cracking every time the kids ran across the floor above me. Not a good night for sure!

The bed was broken the bottom corner hit the ground if you sat on it. Woke up with bites on my arms and legs. Just over all not a great place to stay. Definitely no frills not even the basics like shampoo conditioner and soap.

I was very unhappy I had to wait 25 mins just for someone to check me in. I understand I got there at 1030 but I don’t understand why no one was at the hotel. It is very very unfair to guests that have to wait that long. I will not be back due to this issue.
