Stay away! The staff was nice but not service minded. They wouldn't do anything about our A/C not working in January - which led to us waking up in the middle of the night freezing cold. They couldnt offer us another room nor would they try to fix or compensate our room fee. The water ran out and for half an hour once a day we didnt have any water and the toilet wouldn't/ couldn't flush for the first 3 day. Yes, we did make them aware. Even after 4 days the manager was in the reception and still wouldnt do anything.. He said the rhe room was cheap and therefore we couldn't expect anything but this outcome (the room was being renovated apparently, but we ordered the room 3 months in advance, so I would hope for them that it would be cheap. It wasn't isolated dither. Not the room nor the bathroom.. The room was right through the hall where the reception also were (room 0 on the pictures) which made people try to enter the room in the middle of the night. The front door was left open and the gate outside was not working/locked at all either (01.30 at night) Everyone has easy acces to our room.

Hotellet svarar inte på meddelade, Nonchalant väldigt oprofessionellt. Valde ett hotell i Gamla stan. Undvik detta hotell, inte värd pengarna. Välj istället old town boutique hotel. Ligger inte långt bort.

Nice room but had a couple of maintenance issues when i checked in that should have been sorted before check in (shower holder broken, mini fridge in room but no sockets near to plug it in to). But it was great for the price, great location - would definitely stay here again.

The room is small and cramp. Hotel indicates the towel will be replaced 3 days of stay but even on the 4th day, it was not done. No house is available in this hotel. The bed is the biggest issue, it noisy and it hard to sleep at night. We asked to change the room due to this but was quickly brushed off by just saying it full. Unfriendly staff.Rubbish is not cleared until we checked out.

I stayed here in the Penthouse. Very much a no frills room. The room was spacious and comfortable. But a bit rough around the edges. For example it had a jet bath, so I turned them on and lots of dirt came out, so couldn't use that, It has a shower attachment instead to use, but it has no where to mount it on the wall, so you have to hold it the whole time. The only toiletries supplied was soap, so you will need to bring your own shampoo. Another thing was 1 of the 2 pillows had a stain right in the middle of it, luckily it wasn't a problem since I could just use the other one. I think overall for the price is was more than adequate. It was a large comfortable space, big bed, big sofa and big tv. As a solo female traveller I felt safe, the room itself has 2 lockable doors to enter it. It is also an easy walk into the Old Town and close to the bus stop for the airport bus. So the location was convenient. For the price, it was a good place to stay.

A nice short break in Bucharest

4 night stay in central Bucharest. A few hours after we checked in, we noticed a leakage from the water pipes. We drew the attention of Raphael, the receptionist who straight away took care of the situation. We were given an alternative lodging, not in the same building, but much more spacious.
