Borthwen b&b is a fantastic place to stay. Colin and Lisa were such kind and caring hosts and nothing was too much trouble. It was my partners birthday and they even put a birthday candle on his breakfast, he was thrilled to bits! The b&b was spotless, quiet and very comfortable, and the view from there is spectacular. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had and they were able to provide me a vegetarian option which was much appreciated. We honestly could not fault Borthwen and will definitely come back again. Thank you for making it such a special break x

Borthwen is a lovely homely classy place to stay. The standards are very high and Colin and Lisa take good care of all their clients and provide a fabulous substantial breakfast.The views from the property are outstanding and the bird life in the garden provide great entertainment ! Wonderful stay at Borthwen B&B

Amazing short break at Borthwen B&B. Beautiful big room with lots of little finishing touches. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Colin and Lisa. Fabulous freshly prepared cooked breakfast to start the day off. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a base for a weekend (or longer) in wales.

From start to finish we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Colin was always attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay trouble free. Lisa’s breakfasts were awesome and Izzy our Spaniel was made to feel at home too with dog blanket and bowl. Ideally situated for the climbing/walking of Cadier Idris and the pubs and bars in town.
