If you are looking for a place that’s convenient to downtown and care about nothing else then this is the place for you. Run down, no tv because those don’t work anymore… people were nice enough, bed was comfortable enough just don’t expect anything and you will be fine.

No internet very sucky. Cockroach in my fridge. Homeless as my bodyguards. Breakfast overcooked burnt. Beds were dirty. Sink was clogged. Smelled like cigarettes and mold. Homeless on crack outside the room. Ice machine did not work. Overpriced snacks in vending machine lower it and maybe I’ll even think about buying. Overall very bad don’t recommend at all holiday inn is right next to this place go there instead.

Up checking in I found many lightbulbs missing and went to shower and the shower wouldn't drain. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating and moved me to another room which was much nicer but had no hot water. The staff is great though.

First room I was assigned was not clean, it actually was a complete mess with trash everywhere and the shelf ripped off the wall. The second room was attempted to be clean but the wall next to the bed was bowing like it was going to fall inward, had drywall all over the floor and the smell of mold was very strong. I renovate houses for a living, I know mold very well and my throat was getting scratchy within 5 minutes of being in the room. The wall with the bow is completely compromised and was wet, behind that drywall I will 100% guarantee that its black and not being addressed. Even with all this I tried to make it work by propping the door open, I was only trying to sleep for a few hours before getting back on the road. It was bad, I could do it. I packed up and left, got another room further down the road in Daphne at a very nice Fairfield. I do not know how this hotel is allowed to keep their franchise rights. Its complete trash and needs torn down. Great location but maintenance is awful and clearly nothing is being addressed properly.

Dirtiest room I’ve ever seen. I work in hotel housekeeping and the state of the room vs. the $400 I paid to stay two nights was ridiculous. Floor hadn’t even been swept or mopped. I have photos of everything. I was appalled at how different the photos on the listing are compared to how this room actually looked in person. Roaches crawling in the room. Comforter on the bed was disgusting. The whole room was unbelievable.

Well one our door didn’t open on the outside you literally could push it open without the key…. The room itself was nice bed was comfortable and the water was good and overall the stay was great just the door needed to be fixed

This was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. Room smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom was dirty and there was a strong odor of urine, bathroom door was completely broken in half and the shower was extremely dirty and wouldn’t drain. I will definitely be passing this place by next time through Mobile.

Shantell Jackson was great!!! when we first arrived she was very helpful with directions to our destination that night and what restaurants were good in the area!!. However when we were finally able to check in later it was not Shantell at the counter, it was another lady. we decided to stay somewhere else. Did not want to come home at midnight and not be able to get into our room

Our stay was extremely disappointing & honestly stressful from the moment we arrived. Despite completing check-in ahead of time, I waited about 7 minutes in the lobby before an employee came out to assist. We were initially assigned a room on the third floor, with no elevator available. After carrying everything up, our key would not work. When we tried to enter the room, we discovered someone else was already staying in the room. This was extremely alarming & unacceptable. We went back to the front office & were given a new room, thankfully on the first floor. The entire property felt very sketchy, with questionable activity & people lingering around the rooms and parking lot. While it’s technically in the historic district, this is by far the worst “hotel” in the area & should honestly be labeled a motel, not a hotel. The room itself was filthy. There was no working heater, it was 36* outside. The Floors were so dirty that our child’s onesie was black with grime after crawling for only a few minutes. Roaches, visible mold & a strong smoke smell. Flooring was poorly installed, with sections not even connected, exposing concrete underneath. Curtains were damaged & would not close properly, we had to improvise a way to secure them just to have privacy. The condition of the room made us feel uncomfortable & unsafe. The only positive thing I can say is that the breakfast was decent & we didn’t have major complaints in that area. This property is nothing like the photos!
