I was HORRIFIED by the smell, look, feel, and clientele of this hotel. There was A LITERAL HOLE in the door that was supposed to be a peephole. Roaches, for god's sake were crawling EVERYWHERE! I paid for a week and was told we couldn't even switch rooms. Upon energetic the room it smelled like Marijuana and EVERY DRUG KNOWN TO MANKIND had smoked in there. I got bitten on my arm! This was the most horrible hotel I've ever been in. Had it not been that my children and I had been up for almost 48 hours moving and it was close to midnight, I'd have never stayed that night. We all slept in our clothes and shoes. Drug addicts were all over the place. I'll never go there again.

This place should be shut down. They have roaches everywhere inside and outside. We I got the key front desk literally said don’t leave anything in your car our security is bad and laughed. I got one room key. Before even getting to the room I was greeted by children racing grocery carts in the parking lot almost hitting cars. Then I had to spend money in cleaning and roach supplies just to even use to bathroom. I ended up sleeping in my car because the roaches kept falling from the ceiling and climbing everywhere very disgusting. If I can I recommend just sleeping in your car before booking here.

As a travel nurse, I’ve seen a large number of hotels and I must say this was the worst. I stayed only an hour locked in my dirty room while I searched for another place to stay. I usually don’t scare easily but I felt my safety and also that of my vehicle were in danger. This hotel seems to be a permanent home for the homeless. I was greeted at the locked front office by an intoxicated woman begging for cigarettes. The online pictures absolutely do not properly depict the accurate condition of this hotel either. Red Roof was contacted and I hope they take this formal complaint seriously.

This was the worse experience I’ve ever had. The hotel area and room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was mold in the bathroom and entirely unpleasant. I could not stay in the room with my 17 month old son.

My stay was nonexistent. I showed up to the hotel with my booking number and email confirming my room purchase, but was told there was no room for me. I showed everything to the lady at the front desk, but was told because my name wasn’t showing up in their system that there was no room for me.

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs – Misleading Photos and a Shocking Reality! I booked this hotel through Expedia on February 25, 2025, expecting a decent stay based on the photos and description. However, from the moment I arrived, it was clear that the listing was extremely misleading. The Reality: The hotel looks nothing like the photos—it’s outdated, poorly maintained, and in desperate need of renovations. My non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, making it clear that it had been used as a smoking room for a long time. Suspicious-looking individuals were wandering around both inside and outside the hotel, which made me feel unsafe. I later discovered that this hotel participates in a state-run program for drug addicts, providing 24/7 vending machines with synthetic narcotics on-site. This critical detail was never mentioned in the Expedia listing. Had I known, I would never have booked a stay here. After realizing the situation, I immediately contacted Expedia and checked out within 30 minutes of arrival. Final Verdict: This hotel is a total scam, misrepresenting itself with fake photos and manipulated ratings. If you check the reviews by sorting them by date, you'll notice the real experiences of guests. Do not stay here. Do not risk your safety. Expedia should remove this listing immediately.

One of the worst stays of my life. Lock on door was barely hanging on. Black mold made me sick, cockroaches everywhere, dented refrigerator with NO shelves, noise from rooms above of children running, adults arguing at full volume. Front desk wasn't open when I wanted to change rooms. A total health and safety hazard. I will NEVER stay there again.

I called to speak with an Expedia rep after being told I could only get a partial refund. The place is filthy, in an unsafe neighborhood, and in horrid condition. It should not be listed. The staff who i met briefly is nice though! I expect a full refund. Thank you.

had to drive 4 hours back home because the condition was so bad. the room had roaches, sandy floors, and dirty bedsheets. there were crumbs in the neatly folded bed, and hair everywhere. the bathroom sink plug was broken so you had to wait for it to drain for a couple of minutes. the neighbors are noisy at all times. i paid for 8 nights, i stayed for one.
