2/10 Poor

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Avoid at all cost. You are better off getting arrested and spending the night in jail

The property was really nice

8/10 Very good

I'd stay there again

It was excellent for the price. There weren't many amenities, and the room was small, but it was clean and check in/out was fast and easy.

Great spot for a room after attending meadow brook amphitheater
Jeff, 1-night trip

Niko, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Some of the guests rooms had a smelly oder coming through there doors
maceo, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Easy access from highway Clean , but to the extent of spartan, no decorations in the room , no character
Slawomir, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Only stayed one night but it was clean and quiet , had a fridge and microwave which was a plus
Halisha, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The TV never worked and two different front desk staff were unhelpful. There were dead bugs in the room. The room smelled of horrible cigarette smoke and someone had put a bag over the smoke detector. The smell of Marijuana permeated the room from other guests that were smoking it. The plus side is that the location of the motel is convenient and it is cheap.
Jenifer, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Was supposed to be smoke free but the room smelled like it wasn’t. Our clothes and bags smelled like cigarettes after leaving.
Antony, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice place for the price and location! Only thing they lacked on was not enough towels, the light shades being dirty and no hair dryer. Would stay again!
Shonna, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

What are horrible places we didn’t get to stay the night. Hotel attendant gave us a key card that belonged to someone already that was in the room very disappointed.
Debbie, 1-night trip

Cheap is right !

I would never stay there again after what happened on my stay..my receipt had my room number but the front desk kept giving people the keys, then I come in my room and all my personal belongings was taken in plastic garbage bags! Tossed my food and beers! No one taken responsibility at the desk and manager/owners no where to be found..and when they return my stuff in bags ,things were missing😡😡 very unapologetic and lack responsiveness type of place. But..it's up to you!
Things I noticed when I got into the room..
New paint job..with paint on the floor..
Dented frig
See..

A basic no frills low budget hotel.

A basic no frills low budget hotel. Seems to cater to low income folks of the local community. You better like McDonalds because there is nothing much else in walking distance.
Charles, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Charged me fees for a dismounted tv that I never touched or even tried to turn on in the first place.
1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Cons: They didnt give me my deposit back because of a singular dirty towel that would cost $3 to replace. Ac/heat unit was a hassle to keep the unit going for heat. I was having difficulty getting the remote control to work, and so did another guest. Only upgraded rooms and double beds have a fridge (why doesnt every room get one is beyond me?) There were many tiny fruit flies/gnats and mosquitoes. Room was poorly ventilated so air flow wasnt the best and the room felt moist at times, especially the bathroom even when running the vent all night. Pros: The bed was comfort. My room was pretty clean (wxcept for the best of the toilet). I appreciated the smart rv (when it worked). The area was quiet and near a lake.
Brianne, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

the Red Roof is an average discount motel. Not bad, not fancy.
Ross, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Got the room at the last minute. Not sure if I had cable or not. Kinda small, but I managed.
Kenneth, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible experience. I arrived before my family and had to leave before they come because that is not a place to bring them. I arrived at 2am and as soon as I got to my rooms corridor I sense the smell of cigarette and weed. Once I opened my room’s door everything seemed to be okay but when I got to the bathroom I panicked. The tub was covered in hair as if somebody had shaved and left everything there, the toilet surface was stained with dried urine.
Eduardo, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was crawling with ants everywhere toilet wouldn't flush unless you press and held on to the handle and one room smelled like urine but most of the staff was friendly

Go somewhere else

Hotels.com listed free breakfast. They have no breakfast. We also had to pay $50 for "incidentals," which was nowhere mentioned when we registered and paid for room. And they only accepted cash! In the room there was no iron, no ironing board, no coffee maker and no shampoo. They did bring those items though - but we had to ask. Couldn't get the TV to work. We called the desk and were told, "I'll make a note." What??? So no TV. On the positive, the bed was comfortable, but nothing exteaordinary. The shower was OK, but not great pressure. Overall, if I had known, i would have booked somewhere else - even if i had to pay a little more. I'll know for next time - and now you know.
Roland, 1-night trip

Everything in the room worked!! Only complaint, I didn't see any USB outlets to charge my phone.
Susan, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

A lot of shady characters hanging around. Probably homeless staying in the motel.

Not safe to stay in this motel

Absolutely unsafe to stay here. The motel appears to be drug dealers den. There were people smoking and biking even at 2am. Felt insecure and left the place when I got chance.
1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room (bathroom especially) was very clean. But the room smelled quite strongly of smoke. The phone in the didn’t work and the sink drain was plugged.
