Expected better from Marriott.
I had booked 2 kings rooms and instead received two rooms with 2 queen beds each. It was awkward, as the rooms were occupied by my husband and I in one room, and my mother-in-law in the other. Also, if there is any price difference between a king room versus a double-occupancy room, this was not disclosed to us. I am concerned we received lesser value rooms for the money we paid. Also, the front desk informed us that our booking was made "the day before" according to our reservation. However, the rooms were booked about a week ahead of time. there should have been no need for us to be squeezed into rooms other than the types that we booked. The pool area was dirty and the hot tub was lukewarm at best. Bathroom walls were slimy. The drain apparatus in our room was dismantled and not put back together by maintenance staff prior to our stay. The hotel seems understaffed.
