Everything about this location stands out and I can’t give enough shoutouts to the entire staff! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting of Julianna, Matt, Andrew and Jess. Each one takes great care in their role and it shows. My room has always been exactly as picture shows, and housekeeping is on top of everything! The gym is great for cardio & yoga, breakfast is outstanding and you’ll never go hungry. So close to everything! Speedway down the road, Culver’s, an antique shop, Martin’s, Walmart. My place to go for a staycation yet also great for an in between location while traveling. You can’t go wrong here!

Every single staff member was a complete pleasure!! I actually made some friends here, the food is amazing (get the sausage & churro waffles!). The rooms are always clean and housekeeping is on top of everything! Very accommodating for any traveler, someone looking for a staycation!

Felt very unwelcome from the moment I walked in. Mind you it was New Year’s Eve and I had children with me. I arrived and wasn’t really greeted. No welcome to Hampton how can I help you, etc. I told Jewlianne at the front desk who I was and I was here to check in, she say’s license and credit card, I felt like I was being pulled over by the cops and not checking into a hotel. Then she has a stack of rule sheets in front of me and slaps one down for me to sign, I felt very on edge like we better not make the slightest move or we would be “evicted” then I get on the elevator later to go to my room and they had posted the “rules” for New Year’s Eve there also. We weren’t there to party or do anything of the sorts we just wanted to do something different with our kids on New Year’s Eve and get them out of the house after being cooped up all winter break but the vibes were just so off and we felt so incredibly uncomfortable the whole stay like we had to walk on egg shells during our entire stay. After talking with other guests they were feeling the same way as well! The staff was even bragging in the lobby about their “evictions” for the night at one point when I was down their getting coffee. I Don’t know if I would visit this location again. Very uptight staff, uncomfortable and just not up to par with my prior stays.

Had to sign the “rules” immediately when I arrived.

Breakfast staff and hotel desk staff were wonderful. There were healthy breakfast options to choose from, along with a hot breakfast that I did not try. I enjoyed the fitness room. However, there were no cleaning wipes or a solution to clean equipment after I was done using it. Our bathroom shower was not clean. Mold along the inside edges, and there was dirt and hair on the outside edge of the shower. Our bathroom sink took a long time to drain after brushing our teeth. When we arrived, there were a few Tic Tacs in front of and under the chair next to the bed. This made us think that maybe our room had not been vacuumed properly.

Staff was courteous; the breakfast all 7 days was above-and-beyond in my book (with dark roast coffee too!); room was quiet (on the top floor) despite facing the busy road and being surrounded by other occupied guest rooms.
