Our room was so perfect and clean. We loved our stay and loved being there. It was pretty and smelled so nice. When we got there though to check in on Wednesday 3/4 at 2:00ish pm the man who was there at the front desk made us feel unwelcome and we felt like leaving but I’m glad we didn’t. We walked in and we said we had a reservation and we had to ring the bell multiple times before I had to look in and saw him standing there and he let us in. We had come a long way and we were exhausted. We came in and said we had a reservation and gave him our names and he said I don’t see your reservation and I said we had booked it on Hotels.com he said “no” and mocked us when we said we said that we did make a reservation the night before. He also argued with us about it for 10 minutes instead of just checking. Which hurt our feelings and was really rude. He then said “I hope you know you picked a regular room because your wheelchair won’t fit and I don’t want that to you to talk badly about that.” Which felt pretty rude and was a non issue as we were able to fit it in just fine. He then checked and confirmed we had a reservation and we didn’t see him the rest of the stay luckily. The AC worked perfectly was was so refreshing. The sink was really pretty and honestly it was perfect in there. The other people at the front desk like the kind woman on 3/5 and 11:00pm was made us feel a lot better and was a lot more helpful and we appreciated meeting her. I would definitely stay here again.

Was a little concerned when I arrived how close it was to the freeway. But whenI got in the room I was surprised the freeway noise was gone. Great place really clean, very quiet at night, wasn’t people coming and going. My place to stay when I’m ever down that way.

This is the quietest and best value in Merced. Other hotels are heavily impacted by the homeless with screaming and yelling all night long. The 2 nicer hotels in the downtown area are next to the police station with sirens all night. Management here takes great pains to accomodate their guests. Friendlyness, cleanliness and exceptional pricing.

Our stay at FairBridge Inn was very pleasant. Front desk staff was courteous and accommodating. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. However, no wash cloths were provided.
