Hotel staff was super helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is great for visiting museums and the gorgeous castle. The hotel has an onsen for relaxing after a day of walking. It is a bit of a walk from the station with suitcases so we took a cab on our way back. Overall a great stay.

Location is convenient being right near Matsumoto Castle and a short walk to the train station. Didn't find a lot of restaurants close by, but head towards the station or a couple block BH the Castle and you'll find something. Staff was attentive and had no problems. A modern fairly new hotel which was very clean, safe and a 10 min walk from station. Literally 10 min walk to Matsumoto Castle. We had a view of it from our room. Rooms in the small side (comm in Japan) but fine for us. Beds were very comfortable too. A great value as well. We would stay here again.
