It was a convenient area but unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t very clean (hairs all through the shower etc) and I wish some travel shampoo or soap was provided. The bed was also just made with a top sheet draped over the mattress. Not a terrible place to stay and was quiet but don’t think it was worth the price.

Stayed at the Westwood for a week while attending a conference at the University of Galway. I've not complaints about the place or the staff. Indeed, I quite enjoyed my stay there and would certainly consider staying there again. This said, there are two things I wish I had known about before deciding to stay there: (1) Unless you have your own vehicle, you're largely dependent on bus 404 or taxi to get to/from the city centre (it's a good 50-60min walk each way); and (2) there's no food/drink options in the immediate vicinity by other than a Spar. This said, the food at Kelehan's Bar & Restaurant, which is about 1.5km further up the N59, is superb; as are the pints.

Nice location, clean rooms, and quiet. I wish TV would’ve been included in the room and parking is minimal, there’s a free lot a few streets away but not convenient to walk back and forth with your luggage.

Better than expected, knowing it was student accommodation. Cleanliness and Bathroom facilities were first rate. Having the kitchen space was good too. Fairly quiet, even though on a main road. The staff were really helpful.
