When I made reservations the I mentioned I had a pet. The agent immediately wrote they’d be sure to put me on the ground floor close to the exit for late night walks. The suite was spacious, well appointed, clean and delightful. Quiet and easy friendly checkin. Will definitely be going back when traveling in the area again

The staff were very welcoming, and the service was excellent. The only issue I have is that the walls were extremely thin. We could see light coming through the shared doorway and we could hear every noise and conversation through that the neighbors were having. There were dogs barking as well as children running around which made getting our one-year-old to sleep quite difficult. just a little bit better quality noise buffering would have made this experience much better.

Renter Beware! Don't book this hotel!

We were a little concerned about things when we were sent across the parking lot to a different building. The hallways smelled of something unsavory and there was obvious construction going on. We went to the suite we had reserved, but our daughter's wheelchair couldn't fit through the bathroom door and the room smelled of cats. I have extreme allergies to cats and after 10 minutes my skin was crawling. We weren't able to stay in the hotel. We only stayed long enough to find a different hotel. I went back and explained the issue and Hannah took my keys and worked in the computer and said we were all checked out. I asked about a refund and she said it would be put on my card, but if it wasn't I could just call them. Hotels.com contacted the hotel for me the next day and the hotel said I checked out that morning instead. TOTAL LIE! The emailed receipt I finally received also said I checked out the following morning, rather than 15 minutes later. I expected way better from Marriott hotel. Maybe Marriott needs to remove their name from this hotel.

It was a good value. The kitchenette would be valuable to us on a future trip. The location is great and walkable to dining options. The rooms next to the pool can be noisy all day until 10-PM. The breakfast was just fair and the coffee at breakfast was not good.

Not relaxing.

Don’t stay here unless you bring your own tools and breakfast. We didn’t really get to relax because we walked in to the smoke detector beeping. Their solution was to have us change the battery. Our room was also not ready even though we were there 2 hours after the check in time. There was also no breakfast with 45 minutes left of their noted breakfast times. The rooms were fairly clean - I did have to clean boogers off the bathroom wall. The hallways are very dirty and the fronts of the doors were gross. Maybe it was an off week. But I will be looking elsewhere next time.

I like Utah I’ve stayed in Ogden many times so I thought I’d try Layton this hotel smell dirty. The utensils were OK at best. The TV was small. The room did not smell good and I was in three different rooms. I had problems. I had a lady with a dog right above me, even after asking the staff at 1:30 in the morning I didn’t get to sleep till 2:30 in the morning because of the upstairs person with their dog, the dog ran around, ran around, ran around. They had a softball team there, which I did not know of when I had problems with the downstairs because getting no sleep on Monday They moved me downstairs again next to the pool. The pool didn’t get quiet until 1015. The person upstairs didn’t get quiet until 1130. I had such a horrible time I left early.

Great night of sleep.

It was great. A little mixup on "requests" but once clarified, they corrected immediately. Room was clean, quiet, and we got a suite so kids in separate bedroom. Everyone has a different preference for beds, but the entire family slept well all night.
