The hotel didn’t have any outside lighting. This didn’t make it feel safe at all as we were driving around midnight. The entire place smelled musty and felt muggy. The room was very hot as well.

Gross!!!

This hotel is in serious need of renovation. The property smelled strongly of mold and musk, carpet for some areas were old and felt sticky. The AC in the meeting room we rented for the weekend did not work. Over three days, the trash was never removed, leaving the space unkempt. We had to open the windows for air, but one was missing a screen—even on the 2nd floor—which felt unsafe, especially with small children around. Overall, a poor experience. We rented over 20rooms, I would say this was disappointing for the price that was rented to us. One of the rooms had cockroaches, GROSSS!!!. We will not be returning.

Our stay was none short of absolutely amazing, the staff was extremely kind , the rooms were always clean, pool was excellent, breakfast was always good. I do highly recommend this place!!! The list does quite literally go on, 10/10 for sure!!
Here they folded my kiddos blankets and put the bear neat on the kids bed, didn't have to but they did, always going the extra mile! 🫶
My daughters bear was always just put somewhere out of the way for cleaning, and the wonderful ladies always wrapped her up and made sure she was comfy too, my daughter loved this!
Just loved this hallway so I had to take pictures!
And same here loved the stairs!

Do not stay here at La Quinta!!

Carpet had rips in it. Wallpaper was falling off the wall in places. Old, old, old, carpet felt filthy when walking with bare feet. Bathroom was ok, looked redone in recent years. Desk and desk chair felt scummy and sticky. Worst part was the old carpet and sofa and wallpaper had soaked in smoke smell from years before and was never replaced. That smell was masked when I arrived but got worse each day (5) I was there. My clothes began to smell like old cigarettes. They cleaned the room once that week and after the cleaning it was barely tolerable. Hotel was full. They denied any discount for the horrible conditions. They had a chance to make it right but management chose not to. I will never stay with this hotel chain again.

Update to today

The breakfast was THE MOST attractive and THE MOST appetizing(sorry, couldn’t help it) features of my visit. I suggest the owners go forward with an overhaul for the entire structure(keep the great room service personnel and breakfast staff, please). Update the entire facility to today’s standards. Still a pleasant stay.

Cool but expensive

Spacious room with large jetted tub. Enjoyed being able to close the bedroom off from the bathroom and tub area to keep from moistening the entire room. Enjoyed playing pool and air hockey on property. The depth of the pool was quite enjoyable. It's rare to find a pool deeper than 8ft. I wished the showers in the pool area were working. Hot tub was a great temperature. That sauna would've been pleasant too had it been in working order. Still a great time at the pool even without those extra options. Very slippery tile in there though. Would've slept great if it weren't for the dang sun shining in from the window. Unfortunately the blackout curtains were too bunched and stuck off the window frame too much to prevent light. Beds were clean & comfy though. Room carpet and furniture were old and dingy looking. Room was a bit smelly but not terrible. Smelled like a moist/damp basement almost. A/C filter needed a good cleaning, I'm guessing. That's basically what the smell was coming from. 2 tvs in the room was nice. Couldn't figure out how to get the sink next to the mini fridge to work. Thought it may be broken. Breakfast was decent. Multiple hot food options. The hash brown patties were nice a cruchy. The scrambled eggs were a bit watery. Very spacious area for breakfast though. The small arcade area was neat. Multiple different crane machines all of which proved us to be unskilled hahaha. I think the worst part of the stay would be the room key/keycard needed at every door.

Nice Pool

We booked this place due. to the great pool; it was deep at 8'9". the weight room was a bit outdated but clean. the game room only had only on real game while the others were just claw grabbers. breakfast was good and service was excellent. we were put tin the older section of the hotel which could use updates; bathroom seemed to be the only update. The matresses are in need of replacing; once I figured out a good spot, slept fine. Staff were helpful and ready to help. We would stay again.

Staff wasn’t very pleasant, but was quick to respond when AC wasn’t working. Room was spacious but VERY outdated with no outlets near the beds. The parking lot is a hazard with numerous large potholes. Amenities were good with a quite large pool, workout room and large gaming area with video games, pool table and air hockey. Complimentary breakfast was typical with a large eating area. Biggest complaint is the smell along the hallways and lobby area was terrible. Employee was attempting to disguise it with spray, but whatever was used just made everything worse. Don’t think I would recommend this hotel.
