How could it be a 4 stat hotel?! I guess even motel would be more clean and better. Terrible bed and mattress! Let me not talk about the look of the bathroom and shower! Very low C/P value

Very old equipment and furniture, super small room with lots of mirrors. Extremely poor sound proof. We can hear easily from corridor and upstairs. The room I got seemed not the one with bath tub I saw when I made my reservation. The flush of toilet didn’t work well. The shower room was too small to stand aside to wait for water becoming hot even though I am already very small. People who like antique style might enjoy it but not for me. However, personnel are nice and breakfast was great, but I will definitely skip it next time.

Such a beautiful hotel! The receptionist with blond/brown curly hair with glasses was very kind and smiled often. The rest of the women weren't so warm and welcoming. Abdi (short for Abdullah) was a star employee. He was the one person running around every day from helping in the restaurant during breakfast to being a bellboy. He was friendly and attentative at all times. He made it clear that he wanted me to have a good stay. I complained of having to shower in cold water for the 3 days, but the warm water only came for one day after the complaint. Fortunately the hotel provided a room upgrade, but it was only a day before my check out. Overall, though, I thought the hotel was great and I would recommend it to family and friends traveling to Florence.

Cellai Boutique Hotel is well located, an easy walk to the city center & a reasonable walk from the train station. The room was comfortable with an efficient use of space. The breakfast included a variety of tasty options, both cold & hot. Coffee was plentiful & staff quickly replenished foods & cleaned tables which were completed. Front desk staff was similarly helpful. I peeked onto the rooftop terrace though visiting local exhibitions didn’t allow much time for sitting. The lobby bar was low key, with a wide variety of excellent spirits. There are various seating areas off the lobby entrance where one can sit & chat or read. I highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Florence!

Different day, different outcome

No breakfast this time as I had an early morning flight. Having stayed there a few weeks before, the breakfast was very good. I stayed there several weeks prior and had some issues with my room and the cost associated with it. I wasn’t looking forward to staying there again but no problems this time and was happy with my room.
