Classic French Quarter hotel with friendly staff

The public/shared spaces were beautiful, the room was dated and just okay. They need an update and upgrade on furnishings and fixtures, especially the cheap hollow door to the bathroom. Great location and nice courtyard pool!

It was conveniently located in the middle is the French Quarter. A short walk from trolleys and great restaurants. The hotel was beautifully decorated and super quiet. The inner courtyard and pool was fabulous.

Perfect Location and a Unique Hotel

The location doesn't get any better and the history of the hotel makes it very unique. Having a bar with live music downstairs is amazing. I will put this place first on my list of hotels in New Orleans.

The hotel is beautiful, friendly people, very nice atmosphere at the pool and an excellent location. I stay there anytime it’s available and I’ve stayed in other hotels in the French Quarter that charge much more per night and I always try to book the bourbon Orleans first. Excellent location and great for kids

We enjoyed our stay and found it to be kid friendly enough for our 5yr old. The room was big enough that had we needed a pack-n-play, there was plenty of space. This will likely become our go to hotel for future visits.

Could easily been classified as 5 star, however the fan from the AC was too load. Staff was suberb. Food 4 star, drinks 5 star. Stayed there for 9 nights in room 120. Would like to stay here if there will be a next time in New Orleans
