Some of the breakfast staff do things double standard, a japanese guy use a plastic bag to fill up with bread until the plastic bag full, no one stop him, I take less than 4 pcs they say can not take so many. Some of them very unhygienic, after they empty the trash bin they didn't change their gloves and continue to bring out food from kitchen

Some of them are unhygienic I saw them use tissue paper to clean the floor after that he did not change the gloves and continue to serve the soup

Great family stay

Well located close to the train line and convenience shops and close to senso-ji temple. The rooms are small but well appointed and very clean. The staff are lovely and very accommodating, patient, polite and incredibly kind. We had two seperate stays at the hotel over our trip and I would t hesitate to book again in the future.

For a budget hotel the Toyoko Inn exceeded my expectations. We booked two single beds which gave us more space in our room. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked well. Breakfast was very good and had variety each morning. The breakfast room is very crowded and warm but you can take it back to your room. The local station was very close ( 2 or 3 minute walk) and only 15 min walk to the main sites of Asakusa.

Basic hotel but not terrible.

It's on the basic end so don't expect much but does the job. Free breakfast isn't worth it because there's a tiny selection of food (rice, noodles, egg, meat dumpling) and the breakfast area is tiny so quite chaotic. Plumbing is kind of loud throughout so you'll hear when adjacent rooms shower etc. Other than that everything else fine.
