Highly recommend bombing rooms for bugs

Lady at the desk seemed to have been in a bad mood I know it wasn’t towards me but she needs to work on her poker face. Also I saw a bug crawling on the cover looked like a bed bug it’s to bad I can’t get some of my money back over that bug being on the cover.

The room was disgusting and the people hanging around the area made you feel very unsafe After checking in because was only option after arrived decided to look up history on it a lot of crime there They say they have a continental breakfast and that is untrue I would not recommend this as a family place to stay

This hotel was disgusting. Rooms were dirty with roaches. I had my family with me and we all witnessed active drug and prostitution activity going on in the hotel parking lot. I will never stay at that place again.

This property could use an update but that being said it was very clean and staff was friendly. I usually find properties on Expedia, then go to the property website to bypass Expedia fees. Hopefully, this helps the chain out. In this case, the Econo lodge charged a $35 "reservation fee" that Expedia did not charge so we purchased the room through the third party. Remember that when making your reservation on line. Going directly to the chain site may not be beneficial to you.

For the most part my stay was good. I usually stay at the hotel when I come home to North Carolina. A few suggestions: 1. Update the room door locks. The magnetic key cards aren’t working properly and it takes to long to unlock the door. 2. There was a roach in my room. I’ll “chalk that up” to the door needing the rubber replaced at the bottom. I’ve never experienced this before. Lastly, the staff was great. I‘ll be back when I visit again.

My wife felt scared and unsafe. Very noisy, loud music, people walking by yelling and cursing at each other. My wife never sat on the bed or used the bathroom because it looked unclean. It was so bad the we just loaded our things in the car and left. We called Expedia customer service for a refund and was told the hotel clerk is not authorize to applyba refund, that we had to wait until morning for the manager. Im very upset 😡

The first night A/C was broken burned up all night because they said that they wouldn’t have another room till next day about 1:00 pm, so we moved to that room and we’ll both rooms were nasty and had roaches. Then I rented the room for 14 thru 16 which was 2 nights and because we checked in on the 14th that morning they said that was considered a night so we had to check out Thursday instead of Friday, would not recommend this place to anyone and I’ll never stay there again

It was a deplorable place. It was late at night, and we were tired and not at the top of our game. We were shocked when we pulled in and got a look at this place. No exaggeration; it looks like a place you might not make it out of alive. While we're contemplating what to do, a patrol car pulls in and sits there. We left and drove all the way to Lumberton for a nice hotel. We could not get a refund through Expedia even though we never entered the facility.

One of those hotels where every room is smoked in. Bathtub had a horrible repair job and box spring looked like mold on it. Bed was uncomfortable.

Main thing was the Dirty Black Ring inside the toilet. It looked as is it had Not Been Cleaned in a long time! I happen to have have a picture, if needed. The bathroom floor looked clean, although the white socks we wore were totally black on the bottom after walking in the bathroom. Changed socks, just in case it was from something else and it happened again. Also have video of them (before & after) available upon request. My other concern was the Slippery Film from the Front Door into the bed area. It could definitely be a Fall Hazzard! Not sure if it is from Cleaning Products? Could be whatever the cleaning product is, causes this problem (just a thought). The rest of the room seemed fine. Nice shower/bathtub, with quick hot water and good water pressure.

Had an emergency come up 15 minutes after booking the room and called right away and they agreed I could cancel but need to call Expedia. Expedia did their part but then motel declined to cancel with Expedia. I understand the non refundable but emergencies happen in life and to agree then deny that is unsatisfactory!

The room was clean but needed updates and paint. The breakfast was nit what I thought it would be just coffee juice and buns. The pool was not open. There were families staying there- like living there
