Bathroom was clean with a good shower, however the extractor fan was very, very loud and sounded like it could explode at any time (reported). Paid £5 demanded on arrival for parking for one night and receptionist assisted with logging in registration number at reception desk. A week later received notice of £100 fine for non-payment of parking charge for the 12 hours 38 minutes of my stay. My credit card statement confirms payment of £5 to Days Inn Michaelwood. I will not be staying there again. I do not need the hassle.
