Won’t be back.

I will not be back. Filthy floor, large, gross, yellow stain on bedspread. Bed was so squeaky we kept waking each other up when turning over during sleep.

I liked the king size bed and the refrigerator. The bathroom had a high tech mirror and the pool was extra clean. The color of the stucco was not too appealing but it was new.

The toilet seat wasn't attached to the toilet, there was a big roach laying down on the floor when i entered. I got scabies i had to check out early because I woke up with bites and I was itching all night i went to the dr and she prescribed me a cream. There was no latch on the door for extra protection and it smelled like smoke and i asked for non smoking

Just before Yosemite

Good price, location ok, pool great, breakfast poor, cleaness ok,very good restaurant just behind. Pizza for 10$ with appetizer. 84$ for deluxe Québécois aux states, ;)

Don’t expect much. Place was dirty; floors were not clean. My feet were black so please bring sandals to walk around, which is something I typically do, but here it was noticeably bad that the floors weren’t swept and mopped. My dog ate an old stale fry that was sitting for who knows how long. Spiders and roaches present throughout the stay. Unexpected surcharge for pets at $60. I was also told no pets on the bed (not sure how this would be enforced), but my room sheet blankets were already dirty with blue marker stains and hair from who ever stayed or tidied up the place last. However, for an economy rate it was nice on the wallet to say the least. Basically a spot to rest, utilize the restroom, and explore the Central Valley. I would definitely look elsewhere for hospitality.

I love gateway inn they are always fast convienant and amazing they have good pricing compared to other hotels in madera and they are the cleaner hotel by far andthey are very friendly n quick....i enjoy staying here and will continue to book here n recommend gateway for anyone who travels to madera or needs a quick retret from annoying friends and family....thanks gateway

The hotel was OK. I had a small dog but didn't bother to declare it because it's a Motel 6 property, and the company has always advertised that pets stay free. I'm retired and travel often with my dog, and I've stayed at Motel 6 dozens of times over the years without a problem. As I was leaving, I talked to another customer, and he said the owner charges a $15 per fee. That's disgusting! It's directly counter to the company's dog policy. Clearly, the owner is a cheap SOB who refuses to adhere to the company's longstanding policy. I'll never stay there again, and if you have a dog, don't stay here!!!!!

Don't pass this up!!! Seriously 5 stars !!

I had given up on motel 6 all together after staying at a couple in Fresno CA. Literally those were disgusting l, horrible managenent dirty etc etc ....... ******* HOWEVER: ********** the brand new studio 6 in Madera just opened in December 2023 and is such a wonderful option! All rooms getting full makeovers, now have beautiful thick bedding, super clean rooms, no scary people wandering around the property ever, the owners are so sweet and kind and live on the property so they want u to love your stay... Totally safe, quiet, right off 99. Down the street from the whole Walmart shopping type area . And still at the low motel 6 type price. Still pet friendly!!!! Seriously we travel for a living so I have stayed in lots of hotels and omg. I will be back here next trip as well!!!! Book this one if it is available!!!!!!!!
