I loved this place. The common rooms were so lovely and full of fresh plants and flowers. The room was cozy and the view of the property and the ocean were incredible. Books and records and coffee and places to relax. The owner was so kind and hospitable. We really enjoyed this special motel! Will book again when we’re back in the area.

What a hidden gem! We had such a lovely stay in one of the cabins. Alice is friendly and welcoming - so is her delightful furry intern, Lewis - and has curated a laid-back, beachy vibe with this property. The room was cozy and the bed very comfy. It was a great place to land and chill out after spending the days in nearby Belfast and Camden. Our puppy had a lovely time there as well, with lots of spots to sniff and explore. I look forward to seeing what Alice does as she expands this property...we'll definitely be staying there again!

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay!

I had such a wonderful stay at the Lincolnville Motel after attending a wedding in the area. The property felt quiet, safe, and relaxing. Alice went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, sending me all the details for a late check-in and even leaving a light and fan on in my room. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly set this place apart. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved this place. Clean, comfortable, simple yet stylish decor, and the proprietor was welcoming & thoughtful. We enjoyed sipping the (delicious!) complimentary coffee while looking out over a meadow full of wild flowers and the ocean in the distance.

I repeatedly read reviews saying folks wished they could’ve stayed longer and i wholeheartedly agree! Our little cabin was clean and charming and you get a little glimpse of the water over the meadow. The bathroom was a nice size and had lovely smelling Malin+Goetz toiletries. We loved reading on our little deck with our pup and listening to records.

Hurricane Lee weekend

Rated slightly less than excellent since we didn't get the full experience because our stay was the weekend of Hurricane Lee with no power for most of our stay. That said the owner was on site, attentive and keep in communication. Would not hesitate to stay again. Beds are soooo comfortable.

The owner greeted us personally. She had a cute welcome package. She gave us a tour and had even turned on the AC prior to our arrival. The room was clean and decorated in a vintage meets modern vibe. There is NO television. But there are lots of books, vinyl with a player in the room, games and a pool. Loved our stay

For starters Alice is a gracious host and has a unique setting. Unfortunately - not all guests are looking to be "off the grid". I was traveling for work. This facility though clean and quaint; had no continuous Internet connection, no television in the cabin and most importantly, hot water. You had to wait a good 4-5 minutes for it to warm up enough to get in. Having a note on the wall to explain the reason for this and the discoloration in the water - is not something a guest wants to read. Granted for $230, I was not expecting the Ritz Carlton; however, I was expecting the basics. Internet and hot water. As I said, our host was friendly and welcoming - the cabin lacking basics was not something I was prepared for after being on the road all day.

This place is an absolute gem! Our little family adored staying here. Check in was an absolute breeze, sharing a tour of the common areas that are absolute drool worthy. We loved that they had coffee ready for all guests at 7am and throughout the morning. The flowers surrounding the property were gorgeous. The pool was perfect. Our room was clean and cool from the hot summer day. Also, Lewis and Clarke, the family dog of the Lincolnville Motel made friends with all the other dogs and guests and was such an added charm to the stay. We will ABSOLUTEY be back!
