Maravilhoso. Melhor pôr do sol de Cancún ❤️

Local maravilhoso. Atendentes atenciosos e super simpáticos. Quarto ótimo. Piscina magnífica. Por do Sol surreal de lindo. Recomendo ir no final do dia assistir o pôr do sol da piscina. Café da manhã delicioso ( não incluso, mas vale a pena). Tudo perfeito, já queremos voltar. Obrigada equipe ❤️

Amazing hotel

Amazing stay at Casa Tortugas! Beautiful pool and rooftop bar as well as lovely rooms. Location is great and restaurants nearby are very nice, as well as ferry opposite to Isla Mujeres being very useful.

Escape from Cancun Craziness

Wonderfully peaceful, warm, and welcoming place 5 min walk to Isla Mujer Ferry. Away from the craziness of the Zona Hotelera. Enjoyed beautiful sunset on hotel’s private rooftop guest reception. Highly recommend.

Un peut her pour la prestation.

Hotel familial bien entretenu et situé dans une zone calme. Privilegier les chambres avec vue sue le lagon. Accueil pas tres professionnel a mon arrivée par le gardien, vers 6:00pm. Aucune explication. Petit dejeuner "a la carte" mais pas de jus d'orange ou autre , seul de l'eau. Café egalement a la carte. Pas de petit déjeuner le dimanche. Le batiment est des annees 80, mal insonorisé, les portes claques, bruits de pas dans les couloirs. Le coupe de propriétaire est charmant mais cela ne justifie pas un tarif de nuit et petit dejeuner audsi élevé.

My TD VISA credit card locked my card when used in this property to pay my balance. Good thing I have a Mastercard with me. Tip: pay the balance full when booking. It may be showing in CAD when you book but they charge your card in USD not in Mxn pesos. So that price depends on the exchange rate. Even if you want to pay in MXN pesos on site, they will convert the USD to MXN so you get charged premium in conversion rate (CAD to USD to MXN. Our room was large we love it! Felt like home. Priceless views from the pool and from the rooftop. No complimentary coffee in common areas. The croissant at the restaurant was great. Things to improve: The room we had had kitchen and A/C which was great but no chopping board, no microwave, the fridge door had a little mold, the bedroom air was stuffy (had to take antihistamine for allergy). No switch to turn off the fan in the bedroom. The lady at the rooftop restaurant could be friendlier.

Hidden treasure

Love this place! It’s not on the beach but a has a beautiful pool and view of the lagoon. You can take the bus to a nearby beach or to isla mujeres — bus stop and ferry just across the street. There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk. I appreciated being away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone… this place is very sweet, serene, and family owned. I traveled solo as a woman and felt very safe. I hope to be back in the future!

Peaceful but DIY

This hotel was a very beautiful and peaceful place -- the view from our room to the lagoon was great and the infinity pool was a gorgeous place to relax. Overall we give it a very high rating and would return. However we were surprised at how cramped and outdated our bathroom was compared to the rest of the room. Also, we arrived on Saturday afternoon and for the first two days of the stay the fabulous roof deck amenity was closed on weekends and there was no other coffee or food service provided in the hotel. The Oxxo market nearby is basically just a 7-11 so not really sufficient for groceries (although they did have instant coffee) and there is only one restaurant close by.

This hotel is most definitely a “hidden gem” and we loved our stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel. Our rooms over looking the lagoon were truly fabulous. Alex and the team were wonderful, and make sure you go for breakfast at the roof terrace and in the evening the delicious cocktails. The views are simply stunning and the setting, dreamy. Thank you so much for looking after us and we will be sure to return when visiting Cancun.

This is a great little family-run hotel! We stayed a few nights on our first trip to Mexico and loved the place; the sunset over the lagoon, whilst swimming in the pool. The breakfast options on the rooftop restaurant were appreciated; though we recommend if possible extending the opening hours to Sunday morning. The fact that breakfast was not served on Sunday was not clear and we turned up at the opening time and communicated with staff (via a dedicated WhatsApp channel) to be told it is closed as it is a day for family time. While respecting that, it leaves guests with no option but to get food from the convenience store across the road or order via a food delivery app. The room we booked was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay, would highly recommend the rooftop cocktails (again, if this could be extended to Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons that would be great, as we were only able to try on Friday afternoon).

The hotel is a true quiet oasis in the bustling Cancun area known more for its giant hotels and busy main avenue. The owners of this small boutique property are friendly and take time to speak with the guests. It is obvious that they take great pride in providing a wonderful stay. In addition, the staff are are friendly and efficient. The room was bright and comfortable, overlooking the lagoon. The bed was just right. We have been spoiled and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cancun.
