I was skeptical about booking this location. I'm so glad we continued to stay bc I almost cancelled despite the cancellation fee. It was only for one night so we stayed. The pillows were small and I laughed and still laugh today about them. We had just settled in for the night and heard a loud noise and discovered it was a bear in the creek. He didn't bother us but it was nice to see. We saw a raccoon, a squirrel, possum and a bear all in that creek behind our balcony. We will definitely stay again. It was definitely not boujee but all the essentials were there and food was close by..and it was affordable. Parking lot is small. But no problems to big to handle. We will be back.

There was no hot water in the shower. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. Bathroom had a cover plate on an electrical box and was missing a screw, so thebhole was stuffed withbtoilet paper.

The room was spotless, the entire property made it feel like you was at home. Every room has the stream in the back with a patio and chairs. Also within walking distance to everything. Very high possibility you will see a bear in the creek, they are friendly of course. We cant wait to book again.

We love this hotel and have stayed there the last 4 years when we visit Gatlinburg in the fall. We love the view from the balcony in the back. It’s a lovely view of a creek and beautiful fall colored leaves. The last three years we’ve seen a bear walk up to the creek. It’s been fun to have a nearly guaranteed bear sighting every visit! The staff are very nice and treat us well. The rooms are clean and nice.

Poor service

Had to wait 30 minutes to check in because there was no one in the office working. I was in the process of getting a refund online when the staff finally arrived. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Good balcony. Comfortable bed. Easy walk to the main strip in Gatlinburg. Easy parking. Some outlets didn’t work and there were stains on the top layer of bedding and the fabric chair.

Extremely dirty and uncleaned room

When we walked in there was fresh urine on the toilet seat, towels that clearly hadn’t been washed, and hair in the bed. The hotel was too full to switch rooms so the night shift staff gave us clean towels and sheets and cleaning supplies. There was also a really loud noisy that came on throughout the night I think from the mini fridge. Otherwise the room was ok and we enjoyed the view and sound of the river from the balcony.

The room was clean, but old. The beds were comfortable. There was a desk chair, but no desk and my husband needed to do some work so that was not good at all. Plus the internet was up and down. All that said, the view from the balcony was very relaxing because there's a little stream right there. It was very pleasant to sit out there. The best part? The bear (about a year old cub) that meandered by right in front of us beyond the railing! It was so AMAZING!!! That made the other stuff tolerable!
