Basic but all you need.

We chose to stay here because of its location at the start of the Cabot trail and the lake views. It also offered the self catering facilities we like-microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. However, the price indicated that the accommodation could be basic and it was. The furniture was a bit of a hotch potch and it could all do with redesigning and renewing. Then we would have been happy to pay double the price.

Great Experience

This motel had a great ocean view, check in was quick and easy, and the owner was very friendly. We stayed for one night and enjoyed it start to finish. This seems like a no frills motel, but it had some extra amenities like a fridge, kettle, coffee pot, and most importantly, it was very clean. The owner was ready at any time to provide great service and gave us some great tips for the remainder of our journey.

The property was difficult to find and there was no cell reception on the roads getting there so my GPS wasn't working, better signage from the main highway would be helpful. The fan was broken in my room and the room hadn't been vacuumed as I found a pill on the carpet and dead bugs on the floor and the remote was super sticky..ick. but other than that it was lovely.
