During our recent stay, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our experience. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed it was extremely humid and had an unpleasant odor. The air conditioner struggled to cool the space, which made for an uncomfortable first night, especially given the warm Savannah evening.
On the second day, we returned to find that the air conditioning had completely stopped working. Shortly after, it began to rain and water started pouring from the vent fan in the ceiling. We were promptly moved to another room, but the floor around the air conditioning unit in the new room was soaked. At that point, we were exhausted and chose to stay since the air in the new room was at least cool.
At checkout, we explained the situation to the front desk. The staff member informed us that a refund could not be processed because the reservation had been made through a third-party site. However, she assured us that the manager would reach out to us the following day by phone or email. Unfortunately, we never received any communication from the manager.
