I was very disappointed with our recent stay. Unfortunately, the room and overall condition of the property did not meet expectations.
Upon arrival, we noticed several issues right away. The room had a strong mildew odor, the fire detector was hanging off the wall, and the window curtains were held up with duct tape. The bathroom had visible mold, and the sink area emitted hot air through a vent, making it just as uncomfortable as the overly warm hallways and elevator.
The hotel’s gym was out of service due to flooding, some of the ice machines were not working, and there is no pool on-site, something that was not made clear at the time of booking. The entryway also had noticeable water leaks, and plaster was falling from the ceiling. We even experienced a brief power outage during our stay.
I’ve attempted to contact Hilton multiple times regarding these concerns and have not received a response from the property manager for over two weeks, which has only added to the frustration.
Overall, this stay fell far below the standard I expect from a Hilton property. I hope these issues are addressed quickly to ensure future guests have a better experience.
