I enjoyed my stay - the hotel staff were fantastic, and the massage I booked was out of this world! My room was less than spacious, though the ceiling was very high which helped it feel bigger (and the four poster bed was fab). I loved the help-yourself pantry, and the skin and hair products were lovely.

The location of the property is a 15 min walk from train station and a 10 min walk into town. Very accessible. Quiet and safe surroundings. The main positive of this hotel is the staff - friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Great bartenders and a lovely room to sit and drink. I would recommend the restaurant - food was great. Def a place I would stay at next time I’m in York.

Lovely hotel with quirky decor. A real gem and within easy walking distance of the station and city centre. Great that the staff will pick up your luggage from the station on arrival and it was in our room when we arrived. Afternoon tea was wonderful and we loved the pantry and record player in our room.
