An all too common example of poorly maintained British hotels. Rundown and in urgent need of major refurbishment. The breakfast was better than expected and the staff we interacted with were first rate. A great shame that the hotel itself let down the excellent staff. Never again.

Dinner was expensive for what it was, asked for green veg and hot cold broccoli. Breakfast minimal but fresh. Reasonable price but hidden cost of paying to park. Would be much better for a little renovation

This was out first stay at Casa Mere and we were so impressed. The room was very clean, tidy with a very comfortable bed. The pub it is attached to is lovely, so atmospheric and served a great breakfast with a wide choice of food. Staff throughout were very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently situated and was fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend it.
