Excellent hotel overall, but the restaurant menu let's them down, they are a bit chips with everything, and let's have a curry shall we! The bar also needs to expand the ranges of beers and lagers on offer, not enough choice. The outside lighting needs to work, as we passed it both on arrival and when we returned from finding a decent dinner in Ollerton, and there is an enormous pothole in the entrance way, I drive a 4x4 so it can cope, but a small car could do suspension and tyre damage in that pothole, and would the hotel take responsibility?

Easy to find, helpful staff, seamless check in. Warm, clean rooms, plenty of hot water in the bathroom, large comfy bed. Free parking. Cannot comment on food as did not eat here

Solo stay, hotel wasnt busy for time of year. The initial room I had was clean but dated. unfortunately the hot water was not working. Staff Managed to switch my room quickly into the more modern rooms. Slept very well. Although dinner was OK, I did find it was quite overpriced for the quality of the food itself. Felt like a greene king type pub but expensive food. Member of staff Lauren was very friendly and brought a warm & welcoming vibe to the pub.

Internet was intermittent. Moved to a new room due to hair in the bath. The walls were so thin I got woken up by someone’s alarm going off on their mobile at 6am. Heard traffic all night as windows were not great.

I stayed here for 6 nights. As I intended to work from my room during my stay, I requested a too. With a decent desk which was provided. The room itself was very nice, clean with an option of daily refresh and clean. My breakfast was always hot and tasty and the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional.I would like to single out the lady who was running the breakfast on Saturday 29th November. She was really great. I didn't get her name but she deserves a mention here

Very glad we stayed here. The room was lovely and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable and parking was free. Breakfast was great. The only criticism was the some of the plumbing noises were loud which could be disruptive if staying for a longer period of time. Otherwise perfect

This was out first stay at Casa Mere and we were so impressed. The room was very clean, tidy with a very comfortable bed. The pub it is attached to is lovely, so atmospheric and served a great breakfast with a wide choice of food. Staff throughout were very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently situated and was fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend it.

The bathroom sink didn't drain properly nor the tub. The tub was very small, not safe to use slippery, shallow etc. The bathroom fan was very noisy. The breakfast was not the greatest. Friendly staff.
