This was a wonderful place to stay! The place was beautiful, and the rooms were nice and clean with room service daily. There was also A full breakfast each morning that was a great start to our day! This was our first time in Portugal so really weren't sure where to stay. This is just a walking distance to restaurants, shops and the subway. We were very happy and would definitely recommend this place on your vacation and would stay here again if I was to come back.

Fabulous little hotel!

We loved staying at Casa Mamede. The large bed was comfortable, the room air conditioned, spotlessly clean and serviced ervery day if we wished. Lovely choice for breakfast, cold meats, cheese, eggs and bacon, pastries, cakes, cereals etc We were close enough to town to walk there and back every night. We went to Lisbon for a wedding and used Ubers a lot, very cheap and reliable. We will be back!

This is a great little hotel not too far from the downtown area. We walked there and back every day but the tram stop is close by. Our room was spacious and super clean. This is a historic building, so if you expect modern clean cut rooms and furnishings this is not for you.

Lovely niche hotel. Lovely room. Breakfast was lovely which was self service and good selection. All staff very pleasant and helpful. On checking in they realised it was my husband's birthday that day and on our return for a meal out, there was a lovely awaiting him outside our room along with some bubbly and chocolates.
