The hotel is in a great location, easy access to downtown SLO, Pismo, Avila beach and more. The room was very clean and well supplied. Breakfast was great, eggs, potato, bacon , waffles along with cereals and bakery goods. Bed was comfortable with good pillows. Overall staff was very courteous and professional. Excellent customer service. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The breakfast was amazing. We were surprised it was in its own separate building next door. warm and friendly staff welcomed us and got us checked in quickly. There were cookies and coffee in the lobby. our room seemed clean but very small. the microwave was a welcome addition I didn’t expect. no view but didnt need one. great pool and hot tub. included buffet style breakfast was fine. the waffle station was a a highlight for my son. the wifi was kind of slow and would cut out kind of frequently it wasnt useful for my purposes. but it was fine for streaming services.

The room was clean and there’s a balcony which was great but room 318 balcony door doesn’t lock. Kind of uneasy sleeping at night because while it sounds like the room is on the 3rd floor it’s not so there was easy access to the room from the balcony. Breakfast was better than your average hot breakfast and staff was super friendly. The gym and checkin/out was great. Ohhh, we were only there to sleep and left at noon the next day but there was an odd odor upon opening the door. I think the carpet needs a steam clean or air out the room. Otherwise I felt comfortable for a one night stay.
