The hotel was quite cozy. It needs a good paint job. It is a clean place - upgrade the breakfast a bit and mop around the indoor pool. I would go back

I had a wonderful stay at Bestwestern of Lake George. The cleanliness was exceptional—both the room and common areas were spotless and well-maintained throughout my visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel welcome and ensured that all my needs were taken care of promptly. The breakfast was another highlight of my stay. There was a great variety of options and everything was well presented and regularly replenished. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent cleanliness, outstanding customer service, and satisfying breakfast experience. I would gladly stay here again.

Breakfast was fine, but the room was not cleaned. The indoor pool is great. The person who checked us in provided excellent, personable service; however, I was not pleased with the service from the person who checked us out.

The staff were excellent. They upgraded our room. However, the outlets didn’t work, there were cob webs everywhere and the place had an old smell to it. It definitely needs upgraded. Not to mention the outdoor pool was very cloudy.

4/10 Fair

The location was great. The bed was clean and we were given extra towels upon requesting them. Mattress was loud and seemed old. The air conditioning unit was filthy. Brought it to the attention of the front desk. It was written down but not addressed. We were given new towels the second day but the room was not cleaned and bed was not made. Breakfast was disappointing. Eggs were cold and the sausages were overcooked.

6/10 Good

The room itself was clean upon arrival with the exception of the toilet- it had clearly been used (after the room cleaning) or not cleaned. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the water got nice and hot. The bed was very comfortable. The walls are very thin- we could clearly hear the conversation taking place in the room next door ( they were not yelling) The window would not lock and there was a toothbrush jammed in the track (presumably to keep it closed) There was a nice variety for breakfast. Front desk staff & the "breakfast lady" were pleasant and helpful

8/10 Very good

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome from check-in to check-out. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety, and we really appreciated having coffee available throughout the day. The outdoor pool was also a great amenity and one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel's location is excellent. The area felt safe, and it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shopping, which made getting around very convenient. There were a few maintenance issues that affected our experience. The king bed had a noticeable sink in the middle, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. The walls were quite thin, and we could clearly hear our neighbors. The bathtub drained slowly and filled with water while showering, and the parking lot had several large potholes that could use repair. Overall, the outstanding staff and convenient location made for a good stay, but addressing the maintenance issues would greatly improve the guest experience. We would stay there again.
