Customer service: 0/10 We messaged the property via Hotels.com two weeks before our stay to ask about early check-in, household items, and whether we could store our bags after check-out. We received no response. We messaged again shortly before arrival, again with no response. Check-in was listed as 4pm, and we arrived at 4pm as planned. On arrival, we were told our room was still being cleaned and wouldn't be ready until 6–6:30pm. No one had messaged or called to warn us in advance, and as a result we had to cancel plans we'd made for that evening. On top of this, we had to walk to the office to collect the key ourselves, and were initially given the wrong key and the new key wouldn’t open the door. This was the same issue a previous guest apparently had the week before, which the property still hadn't fixed. The room itself was basic — the view was honestly the best part. The spices we'd been told would be provided weren't there, and we were left with very little toilet paper for a multi-day stay. We also requested a late check-out via the WhatsApp number given to us by staff, and never received a reply. Overall, we'd recommend staying at one of the nicer hotels up the road instead.

This apartment has an issue with cockroaches. It’s an old building, there are holes in the bathroom, near the closet and under the kitchen where little cockroaches come out at night. We killed around 10 per day, even while spraying the product everywhere. We reported the issue to the agency taking care of this apartment, they informed someone would come to do some pest control but never came within 2 days. That’s a shame because the property itself is well located near the bus terminal, the supermarket, easy walk to Lagos downtown, and bus 2 going to the beach. The kitchen was equipped so we could do our breakfast there, and use the laundry machine as well. The street can be quite noisy, it is a main street of Lagos, but the view from the balcony on the marina and sunrise was nice.
