Extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was clearly not cleaned before my arrival; there were stains on the carpet and dust everywhere. Worst of all was the overpowering smell of stale smoke and mildew that hit me the second I walked in. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff were helpful with getting around. Sainbury's and M&S is a 10 minute walk. Post office and chemist 5 minute walk. Across the road from the train station which a 20 minute trip to the main centre of Birmingham. Traditional British breakfast was delish fast service, complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge.
