Booked this because I wanted a bit of luxury but I’ve stayed in hostels in my youth with better facilities!
The room looked like it was decorated by a mum who loves a bit of ‘live, laugh, love’ signage. It was supposed to be a ‘new York’ room but it was just old white chipboard wall paper, an NYC sign and a frame photo. Nothing like the quirky photos in the listing. But that was minor compared to the facilities which were nonexistent.
No fridge, no tea and coffee facilities and NO AIRCON! It was between 28-30 degrees when we were there and the room was absolutely roasting! We were provided a floor fan but it was so underpowered that it just pushed hot air around. Couple with the fact that your water would be like soup because there is no fridge, it was incredibly oppressive to sleep there. I can’t in good faith recommend this hotel and feel utterly ripped off staying here. Avoid!
