Excursion Trip from the Bay Area to Sonora

Have not stayed at Best Western in years, but the Best Western Plus Sonora was much nicer than I expected. Room was comfortable, bed was great and free breakfast was an additional benefit. Staff that checked us in was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again on my next trip to Sonora

Stayed for one night prior to dropping off my son at camp. Not many choices in the area, and this looked good, although very expensive for the type of accommodation. The staff were friendly, the pool was clean and the room was comfortable. I love that the window opens. My issue is that the water smells like a pond, so after you take a shower your whole room smells musty, and there's no fan in the bathroom so your whole room will stink. Tried opening the door to get a cross breeze going, but then we got bugs in the room so that wasn't a good fix. If this was a 99 dollar place it would be acceptable, but at 250+ a night I expect better. Management is obviously taking advantage of the fact that your only options in the area are motels or a casino.

Wonderful hotel very comfortable beds and good breakfast with lots of options. The only thing I had a issue with is having to check out towels for the pool at the front desk and bringing them back it was a pain for a very cheesy towel
