Fantastic hotel, only disappointment was that we only stayed one night, but will go back. Great buffet dinner and excellent value, nice facilities Breakfast was busy and food kept running out so gave it a miss. Lovely grounds and a tram stop outside which I assume takes you into the town.

Only stopped for the one night as just happened to be the midpoint of our journey and was dog friendly. We were greeted by a friendly woman at reception who told us where we could find our room, bar, and breakfast for the next morning and gave us the key cards. I was pleasantly surprised by how the reception area looked and the room was very clean and spacious for 4 people and a dog. The bar was reasonably priced and had a lot of options. The breakfast the best hotel breakfast I've had at a hotel so far. It was a buffet style help yourself breakfast which had everything from fish to sausage to pastries. I'd stay here again on the return journey but unfortunately it is fully booked on the day I require.

Perfect Family Getaway

We had a truly delightful stay at the Dorint Herrenkrug Parkhotel in Magdeburg. We had requested an extra bed for our child via email, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it already set up upon our arrival. The hotel is situated just a stone's throw away from the Elbauenpark. It was a fantastic place for family activities. We especially loved the hands-on science museum and the enchanting butterfly house within the park. Moreover, it's an excellent spot for a picnic with plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and boasted a beautiful view overlooking the park. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the robes provided for use in the swimming pool.
