The rooms are spacious and clean. Good location near freeway, stores, gas and coffee shops. TV was acting weird on some channels. The staff are not that friendly (at least towards females) when I checked in the young guy was very attentive to a male guest check in before me and as soon as he saw me his face changed; he didn’t even tell me about the complementary breakfast or the time for check out, where was my room, WiFi code nothing just necessary talk to check us in period. All with a flat face. The food options are better than other regular continental breakfast. I would stay here again if only the staff were more friendly and to see the place’s dog (golden retriever) that is very cute. I would recommend just have a male do the check in

My family of 4 ( myself, wife, and two kids) booked for two nights only stayed for 10 minutes. The room smelled. Dirty bathroom, mold in the tub, ceiling peeling off, blood on the smoke detector. Sheets with stains. Went to the front desk to cancel the security deposit and refund the room because we are checking out. Dude got mad like I made it all up. There was no way we were staying there. Drove the extra miles to Salinas and stayed at the Best Western. Worth the extra time it added to visit the Eastern side of the Pinnacles National Park.

It is a old, but generally clean property. The manager on duty was hot and cold. Sometimes kind (trying to put our room together and ultimately helping us into a new room) and sometimes rude (he was reluctant to move us at first and made it seem like our broken heater was our fault). The water preasure was good, beds were clean and the tvs were adequate. Nothing fancy, nothing abhorrent.
