Small but nice hotel with everything you need

Nice little standard hotel in an old building which is nice. It has literally everything you need; clean, quite spacious and quiet rooms. Mine had a Nespresso machine which I appreciate. Magnifying mirror and good lighting in the bathroom which I also appreciate. Fun touch to the decor. Lobby small but with lounge area and a bar. Breakfast totally satisfying with scrambled eggs (maybe not the best ones), yoghurt, fresh bakeries etc. Small breakfast area so had to sit at a conference table which was fine. Well located for my purposes.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The front desk was brusque. Admittedly we were in town during Oktoberfest, but also, hospitality is their actual job. They didn’t do anything wrong, they just weren’t especially helpful. I had messaged about car parking before I arrived, yet I had to pull up the messages to prove it before they would allow me to pay €20 for the garage key. They also offered no flexibility for parking after checkout despite there being tons of room in the garage. All of this was within their right, but also gave the feeling that guests were to be endured rather than indulged.

Very small room at the price

Very small room on top floor (you have to carry your luggage one floor on a staircase as the elevator does not go all the way). Slanted roof made the room even smaller. No coffee maker (just instant coffee and water kettle). No hint of upgrade (even as Gold member who has been to the property before). Breakfast good (especially the make-your-bowl station), yet otherwise limited choices (as to cheese, meats, vegetables). Wifi worked well. Short walk to the tram stop. In all, the nearby Leonardo provided bigger room at 30 EUR better price (and more breakfast choices).

Wir waren als Paar nur für eine Nacht dort. Dafür war es okay. Für mehr Nächte würde ich es nicht unbedingt empfehlen. Das Zimmer sehr klein. Teppich mit undefinirbaren Flecken. Im Bad bzw. In der dusche an der Silikonfuge schimmel... das Frühstück ist in meinen Augen relativ teuer mit 22 Euro pro Person. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein Bäcker, der Kaffee und auch ein kleines Frühstück anbietet.
