Easy hotel with good amenities in close distance to the Oktoberfest area. The rooms is rather small but ok for the price. some rooms are still outdated with furniture, some are being refurbished and are more modern. Would recommend for 1-2 night.

I had an excellent time staying at the Westend Hotel in Munich. We were in Munich for Oktoberfest which was a short 10 minute walk away plus the Hackerbrücker train station was an 8 minute walk away where we could travel anywhere in the city including the airport. The buffet breakfast was very good and included several options that were continuously filled. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. 😃

Surrounded by loud construction work

Not a great stay. There are construction projects next door and across the street. Combined with housekeepers working before 8am, it wasn't the best conditions to sleep any later. Room was small, but ok. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment about the food. Overall, the hotel was ok. But considering the high price this time of year, it wasn't worth the price of admission.

A good basecamp for city explorers.

The hotel was clean both in terms of overall appearance and the room itself. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was relatively good and worth the price (10€ per person) and can be recommended. During the summer heat, the room was hot since the hotel has no air conditioning. The location is very good: within walking distance of the main railway station and, for example, the end of the shopping street at Karlsplatz. The hotel is also located on a quieter street in terms of traffic, so noise did not reach the room. A shopping center is also just a few minutes' walk away. During our visit, there was a construction site across the street, but the noise from it was quite moderate (it did not bother us).

Das Zimmer im 5.Stockwerk war bis zur 4.Etage per Aufzug erreichbar. Danach musste man mit Koffern im Treppenhaus zu Fuß weiter gehen. Das Zimmer zur Straße belegen war laut da ich bei sehr gutem Wetter mit offenem Fenster geschlafen habe. Mir hat die Coffee Bar (24/7 geöffnet) sehr gut gefallen, der Kaffee war lecker und ständig verfügbar. Das 10.- Euro Frühstück (auf der veralteten Homepage steht noch 8.- Euro) war in Ordnung aber in der Nähe gibt es viele tolle Cafés

Had a great stay at Westend while exploring Munich. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to reach. The optional breakfast was a great value at just $10. Would definitely stay here again!!

The staff were very polite, great people! I didn't have breakfast, but tee and coffee are free and available 24/7 which really surprised me and I liked a lot. In the same street there are different kinds of food and restaurants and also shopping mall is 100m far, it is big advantage. The room was clean and cozy. The 1 thing I didn't like was pillows for sleeping. They were so soft and in my option not comfortable. Besides that, everything was fine.
