This is a wonderful place to stay!! The breakfast is wonderful lots of selections!!! The staff is very professional yet also very friendly and helpful!! There is a park next door!! Also a harbor right behind the hotel!! The train station is in walking distance!!

I have stayed at this property often and I always look forward to returning ⭐️ Everything about this Hotel is perfect especially the staff the rooms the location the breakfast and the restaurant on the same property!! It may be that I was in one of the rooms that has not been updated as my colleague's room was different. Mine had older carpet with stains and the window shades didn't cover the window well, and it was May, so light most of the night. The bathroom and beds were clean, but the carpet was so old in the room that it appeared dirty even if it was clean.

We stayed in Backlund Hotel THON, And there was no service, I never saw any employees aside from when they came to eat breakfast together in the morning from the guest breakfast buffet. We stayed for 3 nights and no one cleaned the room, nor did we see anyone at breakfast. Strange. And we paid usd 166 per day, so disappointing. Even when we left no one bid us farewell and welcome back. Lots of opportunities to improve service in this hotel.

Fint hotell genrelt, men rommet hadde veldig dårlig oppvarmng. Mtp at det var -12 grader der på natten slet jeg veldig med søvn siden det var så kaldt. Hvis du får rom nr. 247 bør du være obs på dette. Ovnen var skrudd på max, men var iskaldt hele natten og fikk ikke sove. Hadde forventet kompensasjon for dette på kjeder som Strawberry og Scandic, men fikk ikke det her. Greit hotell utenom det, med standard Norsk hotell frokost. Hyggelige ansatte og overalt gret opphold utenom varmen på rommet. Håper de ordnet opp i rom 247.
