Honestly on arrival the staff was wonderful and the hotel looked brand new. We entered our king city view suite and on 1st looking, we were stoked with the room….then we went to unpack.
I’ve never stayed in a $300 a night hotel that had NO closet and VERY minimal drawer space.
We booked 3 nights here for an annual event & we weren’t expecting to have to live out of our suitcase. There was no iron, no ironing board (you have to get them from the 2nd floor “community kitchen”). It would have been nice to have some hangers for my husbands Class A’s however, there were none available & only two coat hooks outside the bathroom.
As far as a city view, not impressed. It faced a parking lot with the view being several businesses dumpsters, (they were being filled till way past midnight so along with random street noise, we had to contend with it most the night). The “city view” is literally neighborhood apartments mostly under construction.
The bath tub was a wonderful feature but i was a little disappointed as after waiting and fidgeting with the faucet for 10-15 minutes, the temperature never g reached more than tepid…it was a quick bath!
One other issue that we were really surprised with is that there were no USB plugs anywhere in the room.
You can see in the photos, it’s quite clean and modern. The staff honestly was wonderful…but next time we stay in CS, we’ll need a place that’s a little less minimalistic.
