Weather was beautiful, staff were helpful when we arrived and upgraded our room also! The hot tub on the roof was so nice at night! The bed and pillows were not the most comfortable but everything else was lovely! Nazare was stunning!

Great location, and room. Parking is an issue (which we now understand is just an issue in general in Nazaré, not this particular property). Very tidy, clean room with nice view of ocean and cute little balcony. Some noise from street at night, but to be expected. Overall, we were happy with the value and location!

Hôtel en bord de la plage de Nazaré, sur la place centrale. Hôtel très propre ainsi que les chambres très confortables avec une jolie décoration simple contemporaine. Literie très bonne. Seul hic, du fait de sa position centrale, du bruit de la place jusqu’à tard ou tôt… monté dans les chambres celles avec vue sur la mer. Sinon très bien !

Wonderful stay at By The Sea. Clean hotel, friendly staff, beautiful view and location. No elevator which was fine with us on 2nd floor but perhaps 4th floor guests might find it difficult with heavy luggage. Still a 5 star hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at By the Sea Hotel in Nazaré. The room location was the best in the hotel, with windows overlooking the beach. The staff was helpful, polite, and friendly. We had a great visit to Nazaré in part because we had such a great room at By the Sea Hotel.

The hotel location and view is wonderful. The room although small was very nice. The poor rating is due to a 'close' bar plays terribly loud music until 3 am in the morning and even with ear plugs you cannot sleep.
