Lift was out of order, we had a late checkin and did it as a noise bar, could hear the bar staff very well. Lift wasn’t working, had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our suitcases. Room was nice and clean. Beds lovely and comfy. Evening meal ok. Breakfast not so good, over cooked rubbery eggs, bacon very hard and dried out, overcooked, filer coffee included, other coffees at extra cost. Stayed two nights, but had breakfast out the second morning. Corridor lighting not working, including fire exit lights. Very dark at night, cleaner had to leave the storeroom door open so there was some light in the corridor. Beautiful decor in the pub and eating area, just attention required on the food and essentials like lift and lighting
