Rooms are (still) dated and need some TLC (special in the bathroom), but rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Big thank you to the cleaning crew between Dec 18-27 2022! Everybody made my Christmas joyful and nice! The Christmas Menu's was delicious, and the drinks delightful! Schwere Glasplatte des Tischs im Zimmer fiel fast auf die Füße, weil keines der 4 Tischbeine an der Platte befestigt war, sondern nur locker darunter gestellt wurde, zwar wurde dies ausgetauscht, aber kein Wort der Entschuldigung; dreckiges Geschirr der Kaffeemaschine wurde bei 4 Übernachtungen nicht abgeräumt; Tissues nicht nachgefüllt; ein Fenster hing beim öffnen jedes Mal quer; Zimmer überheizt ohne Regulierungsmöglichkeit

Wir waren schon öfter zu Gast, leider eine die Zimmer in sehr unterschiedlichen Zuständen… dieses Mal hatte wir ein Zimmer, welches recht abgewohnt war. Die Dusche bedarf einer Sanierung… die Vorhänge sehen schlimm aus und irgendwie wäre ein Klimaanlage auch ganz nett. Das Frühstück ist definitiv schlecht! Wenig Auswahl, schlechter Service, für den Preis echt schade.

Die Lage ist direkt im Zentrum und in der Nähe vom Bahnhof. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ebenfalls in der Nähe. Das Hotel selber ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sowohl im Haus selber als auch im Zimmer sieht man in den Ecken das Alter. Der Service und die Rezeption waren stets hilfsbereit und alle Anfragen konnten geklärt werden. Im Wellnessbereich gab es einen kleinen Whirlpool, ein kleines Fitnessstudio, zwei Saunen und eine Dampfsauna. Leider funktionierte nur eine Sauna. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und lecker. Allerdings waren an beiden Tagen viele Dinge ab 9:30 Uhr nicht mehr vorhanden. Aufgrund der Masse ist der Service, der stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend war, nur noch schwer hinterhergekommen die Tische abzuräumen und die Speisen aufzufüllen.

A special mention for Tobias who offered very good customer service as the Duty Manager. He was warm and friendly and tried his best to resolve issues. He organised a dinner booking at an external restaurant including the taxi booking.The curtains in the room were tatty and dirty. The water in the room was not replaced on our second day.Thank you.
