Fantastic and helpful staff. We went in mid-October so no crowds. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance and the beach access was wonderful. A good spot within driving distance to Pisa and Tuscany if you’re looking to venture out. Room was clean and quiet.

Grand Hotel was such a beautiful beachfront hotel. We had a view of the water and a quick walk to ample umbrella seats at the beach. It was a wonderful beach to visit during our trip to Italy! We were given an upgraded room that was available at no charge. Easy to walk to restaurants and delicious gelato. Great beach vibe with restaurants and bars right by the water!

Great hotel with a very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is not the largest, but has everything you need and is fresh. Good coffee. Great to have pool close, and also the beach right in front of the hotel with access included. Tirrenia was also a pleasent area. Not the newest standard on the rooms, but upgraded bathrooms, nice bed and size. A really nice hotel overall! Would absolutely recommend, and we will be back :)

Just had very nice 3 night stay, wasn’t disappointed, exactly as described. Pool was awesome and well maintained, only gripe was it didn’t open for use until 0830, a bit earlier would’ve been good for more time for a proper swim before breakfast finished. Excellent stay. Strategic position nearby amenities and with direct access to the beach. Huge swimming pool with parasols and sunbeds included. Do you prefer relaxing at the beach? You have one parasol and 2 chairs at the posh Mary beach club. Room spotless cleaned with plenty of towels and frequent change of bed linen. Air condition individually regulated allows to chill the room to your like. Buffet breakfast with plenty of options. More fresh fruit would probably be desirable. Only minor let down was my room balcony which would benefit from a thorough clean. Staff very helpful.

We thought this was more of a beach type stay considering the pictures. They have a space in the beach that limits two upright chairs on the beach but you feel like you’re away from the beach. If you want to lay down for sun you have to pay 10euro per loungue chair and they squeeze it in to the already crowded area that’s designated for the hotel. Seems like they rent out a small section from a beach club to offer to its customers. The beds were very hard. Staff was not as friendly as we are used to in the hospitality business. The lady that checked us out was very nice. The man that checked us in didn’t explain much when we checked in. No towels are provided in the beach or the pool. You can use the room towels, but then have to ask for more towels. There is a fee of €30 to park daily in the hotel or you can park on the street and pay for street parking if you can find a spot since it gets pretty full during the day. Overall, it was an average experience. It wasn’t a terrible hotel. Maybe my expectations were higher than they should have been.

Room floor was sandy, pillows were so flat to be non existent. Check in staff was lifeless and still working 12 hours later so there's a clue. Restaurant is uninspired and caters to German tourist. Breakfast is blah, lots of variety but none of it really good. No explanation of beach club, pool was closed and one of the main reasons the hotel was chosen. Overall a tired property.

Nice and clean hotel with a big pool. The seaside is just a few steps away and there are always plenty of chairs to sit down. The staff is really nice and helpful. Just one disadvantage that our room didn't have a balcony, so nowhere to dry swimsuits or towels.
