Amazing stay in Varenna

The apartment was clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay in Varenna. It is located very close to the local bars and restaurants and a 15 minute walk from the train station. The self check-in process was simple, although the instructions we were sent had the wrong box described for our apartment, but it was self explanatory once we got there as the boxes are all lettered. A bottle of red wine was left for us on check in, which was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated! The only small bit of feedback I’d have is that it could do with a large mirror in the bedroom for getting ready.

This property is in a great location! It is spacious and has comfortable space and a comfortable bed. The main issues were, no hand soap at either sink, no dishwasher liquid to wash dishes and no extra toilet paper or garbage bags. There were 5 small body wash/shampoo packets and one laundry detergent pod for two people for 5 nights. When asked, the response was that they are not a hotel. Ant spray was under the sink and needed as many small ants were crawling about the apartment. Our biggest complaint was with the washing machine. We chose this unit for the laundry facilities, as we knew we needed to clean our clothes during this part of our vacation. There were two machines in the unit. The old one was connected and the new one was not. We obviously used the one that was plugged in and connected. It did not spin the clothes, therefore the machine spilled water on the floor twice. We had to wring out the clothes by hand and blow the fans on them for the clothes to dry. (Luckily there were two fans available). We used the 2 towels provided to soak up the water on the floor and contacted the management. We were told they would send maintenance over to see. That never happened. They also said that they would provide new towels the next day for 5 euros. They never came. We used the same towels for the remainder of our trip (3 days). We were very disappointed, not only with lack of reconciliation but accusations that we reconnected the broken washer for use.

호수와 가까워서 좋고 깨끗합니다. 아쉬운 부분은 아파트 찾기가 매우 힘든데 담당자분 전화도 안받고 어려웠습니다. 외관 이미지가 있어야 보다 찾기 쉬울것 같습니다.

La habitación no tenía los suficientes amenidades en el baño, nada de jabón para baño, nada para bañarse y papel higienico, la calefacción no calienta lo suficiente. Nada de amenidades como café etc a comparación de un hotel.
