The room was nothing I would spend a night in. The back room was underground and like a dungeon and the view out the front window was of the maintenance area. The front desk was locked up tight until 3:00 PM. We were told that they don't always rent that room out.

Perfect location for a carless getaway. I took the train from the airport and was easily able to walk to the motel, as well as the beach and all the fabulous shops and restaurants. I even walked to the san diego botanical gardens! And the staff was awesome!!! .
