The service was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great view from balcony rooms. Prepare yourself for lots of steps. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the River mouth on Tamarindo beach. The surf was great almost every day. Just far enough from downtown to feel like you’re an outsider but close enough to walk anywhere you want to go.

Clean room was very nice! the only thing I would suggest is to have washcloths available for the guest to use. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the Thursday dinner and show was amazing. Justin was very professional and accommodating, I will definitely back again.

Especially loved the quiet rooftop lounge, which is one of the more beautiful quiet spaces I’ve experienced traveling. The room and staff here were amazing. The breakfasts were amazing. My wife’s favorite was the chia pudding and I really like the French toast. Kids liked the pancakes and omelette. For how nice this place was we were surprised it wasn’t busier. Would definitely stay here again. Pool and swim up bar were nice. Walking distance to beach was fast. And they had surfboards to use at the beach.

The staff are friendly. Our room had a balcony with a view. The negative is that we had to wait almost 2 hours to check in by the noisy pool bar on a Friday! Plus, you have to walk up many stairs to get there. They need a golf cart to get people from the reception at the gate to the rooms or pool area. A palapa where people could wait at checkin would be nice! Better security for luggage is needed.
